Low Country Boil

Ingredients

  • Zatarain’s Crab boil
  • 4 tbsp salt
  • 1 1/2 pounds shrimp (no shells or tails)
  • 1 package kielbasa (any kind)
  • 1 package hot sausage (andouille)
  • 3 pounds red potatoes, cut in half
  • 6 1/2 ears of corn

Directions

  1. Using a very deep stockpot, follow the directions for the crab boil.
  2. Boil potatoes for about 15 minutes. Add uncooked meats (except shrimp) and corn, boil for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add shrimp and boil a couple more minutes. Drain and spread out on newspaper.
  4. Sprinkle with cajun seasoning and serve.
