- 2 cups All purpose flour
- 2/3 cups powdered sugar
- 3/4 cups butter softened
- 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cups honey
- 2/3 cups butter
- 3 tablespoons whipping cream
- 3 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
Sift together flour and powdered sugar. Cut in 3/4 cup soft butter with pastry blender until it resembles coarse meal. Pat mixture on bottom and 1.5 inches up sides of lightly greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350° for 20 min or until lightly browned. Let cool.
Bring brown sugar, honey, butter, and cream to a rolling boil over medium high heat. Stir in pecans and pour hot filling into crust. Bake at 350° for 20-25 min. Cool and then cut into 2 inch squares.
