Mississippi Pot Roast
Ingredients
- 1 3-pound beef roast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet Au Jus mix
- 6 pepperoncini peppers
- 1 stick butter
- salt
- pepper
Directions
- Lightly salt and pepper roast, then sear, on both sides, on stove in olive oil on high heat.
- Place roast in crockpot.
- Melt the butter and mix in the Au Jus and Ranch Dressing Mix. Pour over the pot roast and put pepperoncini peppers on top.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-5. It will be very tender when it’s ready and will easily break apart.
