Cheese Dip For Pretzels


  • 1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  •  1/2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  •  1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  •  8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded


  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  2. Whisk in the milk and ground mustard and cook until slightly thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the cheese until smooth and all of the cheese is melted.
