Coconut Haystacks


  • 1 10-ounce bag of milk chocolate chips (other flavors can be substituted)
  • 2 cups toasted coconut (toast coconut by putting in cold, dry skillet and toast over medium heat, stirring constantly)


  1. Melt chocolate in microwave for one minute, stir, melt again for one minute, stir.
  2. If additional time is needed to melt chocolate thoroughly, use 30 second intervals.
  3. Once chocolate is all of the way melted, add toasted coconut and stir thoroughly.
  4. Drop by tablespoons onto wax paper or parchment paper. Refrigerate until set. Store in refrigerator.
