Copycat Popeye’s Biscuits


  • 4 cups Bisquick®
  • 3/4 cup Sprite®
  • 6 ounces sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix Bisquick, Sprite, and sour cream. Roll dough out onto a floured surface until about 1/3 inch thick, and cut with biscuit cutter, or the end of a glass.
  3. Dip each biscuit into the butter then place on a cookie sheet, making sure they are touching so they’ll rise. Pour any remaining butter on top.
  4. Bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes.
