Garlic and Cheddar Biscuits

These biscuits are absolutely amazing. It’s like going to Red Lobster without leaving your own kitchen! The dough is sticky, so using two spoons to put it on the cookie sheet is the best way. Using parchment instead of a greased cookie sheet is fine also.


  • 2 cups Bisquick® baking mix
  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt


  1. Preheat oven to 450° F. Combine Bisquick®, milk, garlic powder, and cheese and beat with a wooden spoon for about 30 seconds. Spoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheet with equivalent of small ice cream scoop. Bake in 450°F oven for 8 – 10 minutes. Combine melted butter, oregano, and garlic salt and brush biscuits before serving.
