Chocolate Fudge


  • 3 cups (18 ounces) milk chocolate chips (or dark)
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract


  1. Line 8- or 9-inch square pan with wax paper or parchment paper, making sure it goes over the edges of pan.
  2. Melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt in heavy saucepan over low heat.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  4. Spread evenly into prepared pan. Put in refrigerator 2 hours or until firm.
  5. Remove from pan by lifting edges of wax or parchment paper. Cut into squares.  Best stored in refrigerator.
