Smashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 8 small red potatoes
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450° F.
- Wash potatoes, cut bigger potatoes in half, and then boil in a pot of salted water for 15-20 minutes until almost done. Drain.
- Put aluminum foil on a cookie sheet, brush with the olive oil, then using a potato masher or spatula, smash each potato onto the cookie sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine garlic salt, garlic powder, and pepper, set aside.
- Brush potatoes with melted butter, then evenly sprinkle the combined seasonings on top of the potatoes.
- Bake at 450° F for 10-15 minutes until potatoes are slightly crispy on the edges.
