Easy Chicken and Dumplings
Ingredients
2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuits
1 1/2 cans of milk (use soup can)
1 can of water (use soup can)
1/2 medium sweet onion, diced
2 stalks celery, sliced
4 small cans (or 2 large) condensed cream of chicken soup
2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons butter
Directions
Mix butter, cream of chicken soup, onion, milk, celery, and water in a crock pot. Add chicken, covering with the liquid.
Cover and cook up to 9 hours on low (6 is minimum). Do not add extra salt! About 1 hour before serving take chicken breasts out and shred chicken using 2 forks and then put back in crockpot.
Turn crockpot to high and add biscuit dough (cut in fourths) in crock pot and cook until dough is no longer raw in the center. (about 45 minutes).
